What's up everyone?? We have had a great couple of days, of beautiful weather here, so haven't been on in a few days. We are working 6 days a week now so when i got off saturdsay morning ihave tried to take advantage of all the riding time i could!;)
I work for Bluestone Coal Corp out of Beckley WV jlcumb2. I'm a 3rd shift production foreman for them so to get time off is hard to come by, right now we are working 6days a week and i get every third weekend off, so to go to the gap on week days i will have torequest it off. I am only three hours from the gap though so i may take a day and with working 3rd shift still have two full days of riding.ninjaboy07..
If you let me know when you're coming jl and Ninjaboy I can show you some of the great riding around home here. One of the best kept secrets of VA starts about 5miles from my driveway. State rt 16 runs between Tazewell and Marion and if you like the dragon then you will love this road. It is listed in about all the motorcycle road sites, it has very similar scenery to the gap but is off limits to vehicles over 35ft, is 3 times as long as the dragon and every bit as technichal, speed limit is 55, radar enforcement is minimal, traffic is very lite.
And another good thing is if you travel I-81 down to the gap it is on your way...
