Howdy fellow zx14 riders! New to the forum and new to the realm of hyperbikes. I traded I'm my worn out '03 Suzuki Bandit for a '13 SE 14r and just my luck a late season snowstorm comes plowing through my area, it was sunny and 60* all last week, the day after my bike arrived at the dealership. I took advantage of the nicer weather this morning and got her home before the roads turned into a soupy mess. As soon as the weather is nice enough to ride again I'll be in the field planting instead of riding, damn it! My intentions are to spend a lot of time mostly touring this summer whenever I can find time to escape the farm. I would like to know what some of the other riders here on the forum like to use for luggage when touring, other than a backpack. Also, I live on a gravel road about a mile's worth from the blacktop do I need to be concerned about rocks hitting the radiator and the lower cowl? Any thoughts and ideas any of y'all got would be great! Thanks
-Buck
I'll try to post a couple pics and just for fun a couple of my other toys and projects along with it.
The new NASTY CRUZER
The old bulletproof El Bandito 1200 from last summer. I love the naked look
'78 KZ 650... My first motorcycle. I'll never sell this old girl, she's still my favorite bike to cruise the neighborhood
'76 ke100... still in the process of my random decision to do a frame up restoration
A good old '31 model A I'm currently working on. Found this thing in a neighbors barn late last summer. It's been sitting in there untouched since the '70s
