My friend has a 400. I liked it. Actually has some power compared to the 300.
What road is that ?

Here is another lil section up your way Mad..

In California, white lines on each edge or referred to as "fog lines" and without a centerline , usually signify a width of one and a half lanes or less :)

If you can believe it, I've still never ridden 36. I've been on 3 from 299 to Gazelle. Up where I am now, the best road I've found is Wilson Hill Rd. Way too short but very entertaining. That picture looks a lot like Wilson Hill.

Actually I like both. Although it takes some work to hustle the 14 around the hairpins on Wilson Hill.
The kind of road I don't like on the ZX are bumpy potholed ones. No fun on the 14 on those

As soon as the smoke clears ( and fires are under control or out), I will buy you a cup of coffee and point out some of our choice adventures ...I would steer clear of 36 for a bit as teh smoke is /was pretty bad ..

I'd love to take you up on that Chrly, I've ridden over to Lake Almanor. Probably take me about an hour to get there. May be shorter if I go through Lassen Park. We finally got rain so our smoky skies are clear. Going to try to get a few more rides in before the snow comes.

That sounds good to me. I can meet you in Chester no problem. Pick a meeting spot I won't miss ,I've only been there twice. Not too early in the morning, it's getting cold up here.
My cell service is really bad up here. If you're on Farcebook Messenger I can get messages.

Best part to me of this video is the complete lack of traffic. I have lived in the Seattle area almost my whole life and the traffic has become just oppressive in a lot of places.
Thanks for posting this video.

Well, I rode through Lassen Park and met Chrly in Chester at Lake Almanor. He's a great guy. His
New 400 is beautiful. It was a little chilly so I was glad I had my heated vest. No riding this time, but we had a nice lunch and a chat.

Wait a minute...are you saying that it's MY general ugliness that is affecting the bike ?
Kind of like saying, " You're not as stupid as you look. But then you couldn't possibly be. "
