Ok so I was surfing Ebay and found a new undertail with tail lights (18 Leds) carbon fiber look retails for $219. Only reason I bought it was cause no one bidded on it so i got it for $55 a steal imo Has anyone on here installed one of these things on thier 14. add says 20 min install + wiring.
Does the factory fender have to come off? any advice is appreciated wont get undertail till next thurs but with crappy weather thought id get a jump on it. thanks all

I never did an undertail install, but looking at what you have and the way it is going to sweep upwards to replace the stock tail light, I would say that you are probably going to have to remove the stock fender. Although, how you do that and wire it in 20 minutes is beyond me.

yea red i could see 20 min if i dont have to remove stock fender but aft looking underneath i cant see it fitting under there without removing the stock fender.

UPDATE: well got it installed (20 min my ass) didnt have to remove factory undertail but that was about the only thing that didnt come off the back of this bike...lol kawi didnt make working on the back end of this bike easy. But alot of cussing and 2 hrs later its on,still have to put the seat compartment back together but it dont look too bad heres some pics......
