And anyone else that has a "custom" map they are willing to share, please upload it and post the link... It took me all of about 1 minute to do.
One of these days I will have to pull a copy of mine and post. I must confess, I know almost nada about what those # mean. Be interesting to see how it compares to the first map. I have same setup except the exhaust is prolly closer to a smeg or a short meg.

I just uploaded that Muzzy file and did a map compare with my Ivan-Hoe map, very different. Ivan's is for slip-on Yoshi however so that may explain some of the difference.

Dogo sezz
Safe enough to run 87 octane (in cool weather), eventhough the map was created running 93.
Sigh..
Octane rating has absolutely no bearing in air fuel readings. You can run 87, or 101 or even 114 octane fuel (as long as they are all non-oxygenated) and the a/f will be the same. The higher octane fuels will make less power, due to the slower burn on the fuel.
I know it's been a while, but i thought we'd been over this?

Correct.... but it does have a big impact on the fuels ability to resist detonation, I think this is what Dogo is trying to say.

Look at that AFR line! Practically out of the gate all the way up. WOT does that tell you?
Tells me that there is a opening for guys the Jeff to walk in and pull some fuel and make a quick 50. Sorry just stirring it up is all lol. 12.50 AFR to 13.25. Looks like she needed it, No ?

I know this is an old thread but has anyone tried this map? I've only been running a FuelMoto map that was provided with my PCV and I would like to see if theres an advantage to be gained with other maps...

Gonna try it.
Tried a Jeffo map, and a remap ....... awful.
Running a PCV Akropovic program .... better, but still not right.
My combo ....
2009
2006 Header, no cat.
Tsukigi race carbon dual slip ons.
BMC air filter
Question from a newbie with PCV, does a new program correct all facets of an old program, such as accelerator pump settings?
Half in the bag here, so I hope I'm saying this right.
SA Octoberfest ....yum!

On my 2012 PCV setup for brock's I didn't have to set any other features...only install and ride.IDK if he had done that in there already or not.
You tried a Jeffo map in your 2012?Hmmmm....I had one also....ran very good with my 07.You're braver than I am....that's for sure;)
"Running a PCV Akropovic program .... better, but still not right"....maybe...you could PM one of those guys over on the EURO section...(here)ask if any have that factory Akro/14R map.One guy said his runs flawlessly...his EURO factory Akro 14R.It's supposed to be a very very good map.
"does a new program correct all facets of an old program, such as accelerator pump settings?"...by 'program',you mean the unit's firmware...i.e.,PCIII or PCV?If you're doing that...the new PC will default to whatever it's set to.Once it's powered on and connected to your ECU.(or CAN)..or whatever. You should have an option in there to 'reset to all default powercommander settings" or something....in 'environmentals'.Nice little deal I think.Well..depending.Anyway..it clears all the inputs someone has entered in there. It will not affect the loaded map.

Hi guys, I have a Muzzy map in my 08. The bike runs consistently good.I have a Muzzy full system, K&N air filter and a PC-3. The pipe end is always black and the gas mileage is about 32mpg. The popping doesn`t bother me. I think its cool. The only issue so far has been the leaking valve cover gasket that I fixed with a few washers. Get the feeling I love this bike?
Can I do any better with a different map or should I leave well enough alone? I do realize that these 14s are not econo-bikes. Thanks, LD

It's been ages since I checked my mileage. I can fill up and go about 200 down the highway before I'm on E.
My pipe is black so I don't know how sooty the outside is. The inside was not coated but it was soon covered with black soot. It's not greasy. The stockers even will sputter out black stuff. I don't worry about it.
