3 years ago I had a beautiful stretched black 14r that was causing problems at home so I sold it and bought a boat. Forward to 2014 wife thinks it's OK to get another bike and I buy this beautiful black and orange 2014 ABS and set it up for LSR. End of last year wife and son decide we need a toy hauler if I am going to keep running LSR events. Can't get a reasonable size trailer that my loved F-150 would pull so it got traded for a Ram dually. After looking for 6 months for a toy hauler that meets the princesses desires I say no more, not worth it. So this bike is up for sale. I know I need to get pictures posted ASAP but listed so wifey can stop bugging me.

2014 black and orange ABS zx14r with 1712 miles. Oil and filters changed at 100, 400 and 1700 miles with HOnda gn4 oil.

As you can tell by everything going with it I am getting out of bikes permanently so really want to sell the whole package.

The ECTA numbers and letters on the lower fairing are vinyl and peel right off.

I personally think you are making a mistake, but good luck with your sale.

Toledo, I have had mine for sale for almost three months. The market sucks for these bikes. Unless of course you want to give it away!

Sad thing is it is being given away. I've recently met 2 guys that bought left overs. One was a red 2013 for 11,200. The other was a matt black non abs 2014 for 11,400. Here is one that looks brand new (actually much better than one of their new ones), has had 3 oil and filter changes along with the break in check up and $3100 worth of extra goodies.

I know I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.

Your bike is a great deal with tasteful matching accents and great performance mods. However used bikes are harder to finance, and for some reason the dealerships have really dropped their prices.

Toledo - I think you'd do better to put the bike back to 100% stock and advertise it that way with your super low mileage. Just say it's 100% OEM with super low mileage. Never mention anything about racing, or it being set up for racing, or passing racing inspections etc etc. I think most guys want to buy an un-raced, un-molested bike.

Then sell all your extras separately. That's the best you're likely to do.

If you think about it, trying to sell a race-ready bike is kinda like Lego sets: Part of the fun of buying a new Lego set is getting to put it together.

If the price is right and I trust the seller, I'd take a modded race bike. Especially just LSR. That's not punishment at all, just fast.

This is all set up for peak performance no matter what kind of street/sport/race riding you do. The pipe alone is worth $2000 and that is the pipe you should be wanting if you have a 14r. A lot of buyers are newbies and they don't get the time and expense of doing what has already been done. You might be best to part out the mods just to avoid getting raped which you sort of already are. The stock bike alone could sell for what you're asking or just a bit less.

LSR is not that hard on the engine or transmission.
So don't be turned off by that.
He has a ton invested into his bike.

I agree with extrapolator. Most people like to do their own mods ( at least those who are around me) except exhaust and Power Commander. Even exhaust, many replace them with what they like. So the best way is to put it back to normal and sell bits & pieces separately. Even with all expensive mods you made, you won't be able to sell the bike with extra money you spent. OEM with extremely low mileage. That should sell. GLWS!!
