Those rims look absolutely incredible!
A mod I would definitely consider if it was not for the prohibitive cost...
I just cant justify that sort of expense.
Wish I was rich like all you other forum buggers!

Yeah, look like brembo rotors....
Why do I always fall down on the job with the last 2% to go.
BST's - Check, Pirelli Tires - Check, Ceramic Bearings - Check, Nice Rotors...

Rotors, brake lines, calipers....it's all just nice bling to me. The stock brakes were always a lot more than I ever needed. roadczar claims if you can work the brakes hard enough, the upgrades will make a difference but I never use my brakes hard enough to notice any dif. From my research, the master cylinder is what will give you a noticeable change in brake power (as if we need it) but the 14's stock mc already has the optimum bore size. That's probably why the stock brakes are so good compared to the busa. The busa has gone to Brembo calipers but what it probably needs is a Brembo mc....or a ZX-14 mc which is what a lot of busa owners go with to improve that bike's weak, too progressive front brake.

Yes, Brembo T-drive 320mm rotors, Full Spiegler line kit, Driven aluminum sprocket with TI nuts , Galfer 1375 pads.
Upgrading brake lines is not about working the brakes hard enough for ultimate stopping. It is about consistency of the feel over time and at different temperatures.

That is a cool looking sprocket. I don't suppose you weighed it, did you? 41 tooth?

It's a Driven sprocket, same one I put on mine, but I went with black driven nuts to complete the blacked out theme.
I will never use Ti fasteners ever again... lesson learned...the weight savings isn't worth the aggrivation if/when they strip...

I don't have precise scales, ...one of these days. It's 42 tooth - same as stock.

I was able to weigh both rotors - 1.46kg combined. Not sure how accurate. Do you know how it compares to the stock?

Torque wrench is your friend... I believe that Driven nuts are aluminum. Titanium can be torqued to much higher values than aluminum. Any fastener can be stripped...

I have a set of driven sprocket nuts and they are solid aluminum. It's etched right on them how much they are to be torqued and it is far less than the stock spec. I went with Pro Bolt aluminum which have a steel helicoil. I still torqued them less than spec. I felt one of the helicoils turn in the nut while torqueing---hope I don't have a problem removing it when the time comes. I suppose what woudl happen might be that the nut will thread off of the helicoil and then the helicoil will spring open and come right off the stud---at least I hope it's that simple if that's what happens.

Your Bremboss are 3 lb, 3.5 oz. That's a hell of a good weight loss for good rotors. Galfers look awesome but I think they are about the same weight as OEM. My CZs are 4 lb. 12.8 oz. I guess I get Brembos next time.

Here is the stock Gen1 front rotors.

and the OEM Gen1 rear

This is both front and the rear rotor bolts, OEM. You'll have to do the math on that.

I really want to know how Brembo made such beefy looking rotors so light. Over 2 lbs lighter than stock! My CZs are like lace and they are also pretty thin. They're not even a pound lighter than stock.

Like I said, not sure how accurate my numbers are. I used a digital scale used for weighting bicycles. One rotor did not even register. I had to weigh them both at the same time. So who knows...

AH-HA.. you prolly would have been better to weigh yourself on a bathroom scale and then grab the rotors and find the difference. Most scales will show a lower weight closer to 0 especially if they can weigh objects that are relatively heavy--as I'm sure you know.

They claim a significant reduction in weight compared to OEM

"Brembo High Performance discs deliver uncompromised performance in all conditions, eye-catching racing looks and a significant reduction in weight compared with the original component."

I'd prefer if they listed the actual weight. :)

Yeah, they don't do that with a lot of stuff. Maybe it's because there are too many different variations for parts that fit different bikes. Same story with exhausts.
