New build
12/27/19 9:12 PM

Just started. Working on my tank unit. Didn't want a pump making noise so pump is going inside. Doesn't look too hard. Going to see if I can figure out how to post pics. Still need to weld a few barbed fittings to the top of the hat. It's a DW 255 pump. Had to hunt up the pump filter. Looks like it'll work so far. Barb fittings will be here in a few days. I'm going to use all 3/8 hose. For supply and return. I bought a Magnafuel rising rate regulator. I'm going to pull the throttle bodies and the fuel rail and weld 3/8s barbs on it also. Looks like pulling the throttle bodies will be a lot of fun. I'll probably throw some bigger injectors in it also. I'll post more pics when I get done.

Do you have a place on the net to host your pictures?

So I'm going to Tig weld two barbed fittings to the top of the sending unit. I'm using Quantum corrugated flexible hose to make that sharp bend inside of the tank. I made the fuel regulator bracket today. I'll get some pics of the fuel regulator tomorrow. Figured I'll get everything mounted first. Then run everything. Going with meth injection at first. Using a lithium ion battery I can mount the injection pump a lithium ion battery where the stock battery goes,

I guess this is where I'm going to install my regulator. With all the lines that comes off of it. There just isn't a lot of places to install it. So this is it. All of the lines seem to have clearance and it'll be easy to adjust. Can someone tell me where is a good place to get a boost reference line While I have the throttle bodies off? will be time to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. These bikes don't have much of a intake manifold. I still have to make a bracket. But it's not hard. ? Thanks for any help.

So can any tell me what they did for a boost reference line. I'm sure I can find one with the throttle bodies off. But I'm sure someone that has done it could save me some time. Anyone ?

Regulator is mounted. Just made that small bracket. Running the lines will be easy and it'll be easy to adjust. I like this spot. Everything just works.

Sorry not me. We need Romans back around here (for the thousandth time).

Glad you got your pics routine down. Looks really cool. I sure hope I can do this someday. What kind of money are you anticipating spending for the whole job?

So far I have about 2800 in it. Still need about another grand to spend. I bought a cheap turbo tho. I'll replace it later. I have to make my own header. I bought the flange kit and the bents. Plus some straight pipe. I did buy good Tial BO valve and WG.

Tim, if it helps at all the RCC kit uses a billet ram air cover. 2 outlets - 1 running to the wastegate and the other to the FPR. I drilled and tapped another outlet for a boost gauge.

You can see the plates in the photo.

If you need to know where the MAP sensor is it is between the two right hand cylinders in front of the throttle bodies. It is stuck there on a rubber grommet. I had a hard time getting in there while the throttle bodies were still on. But it can be done!

Did you seal all the holes in the airbox?

Looking good so far!
