Sounds like a dirty class that needs some cleaning up. YOu won't be liked by the class is tell them to kiss your ass. Racing is Racing is re=cheat the rules.

yeah, pretty much what I thought, leave the stock exhaust alone, stay within the rules, and if I am lucky enough to get anywhere near a class record (very unlikely first time out) at least it will be a supportable number.
interesting when I talked to Yoshimura tech back when I got my ZX 14, they told me that the stock ZX 14 exhaust system was in their opinion very well designed, and that dual slip ons, their's or anyone elses, were mainly for weight savings, and maybe a horsepower or two, but no major power gains.....
