"Welcome cliff, seen that bike on line before, nice building skills on your projects....just down the road from you in gormley. I think it's Leslie/lakeshore Thurs night thing for bike night, but there is a wed fast & furious thing out at 400/7."
Thanks.........Where is the gathering point for the Wed night event at 400 & 7?....What time does it get going? I'll plan to drop in to the Lakeshore on Thursday at about 8PM. looking forward to meeting you guys.

Hey Cliff all I hear is warning about full synthetic, as this bike is intended to run stock oil. What are you thoughts about these skeptics?

Sorry to jump in and give my 2c but manufacturers can't 'intend' anything beyond a certain point with lubricants. Metal is metal. Synth is better for high rpm and high load operation. Yes, regular oil works fine. But if ur gonna run a bike hard, dyno, or otherwise, the lubrication given to the parts when the piston speed is at its greatest, is best provided by lube that can not only stand the speed of the piston but the direction change comin, and the proportionate heat generated etc. synth doesn't burn up like a petroleum based oil. Works yes! Ideal? Nope. Naysayers need to go back to fuckin school! (Obviously NOT directed at you wolf!) All the knowledge in libraries all over the world is fuckin free! ;)

Wife is out on bike night, the babysitter bailed...

So I will join you guys for the Vortex blast down to the spot. What say we all meet just past the 404 and 401 bypass - tucked to the middle where the OPP (yes we know that's where you guys scavenge like vultures) hang out for radar traps...
Thoughts.

Yes! Exactly! And ur money goes to base quality. When you see an oil that has a bunch of mixed base oils of either type. I ask myself why? Just like good fing liquor bud! Ya want single malt! Quality equals purity equals full knowledge of product components. Mixed base tells me they are cutting cost, mixing base batches etc. WHOM KNOWS IF THE BASE SUBMITTED FOR TESTING (If mixed base) IS THE SAME AS THE BASE YA BUY? Can't seem to get any solid info. So. Single base pure synthetic. Anything like a good quality amsoil or silkolene or motul , bel ray, red line. All great stuff! :) what happens is, in the long run, I'm talking at 18000 miles when we go to adjust your valves, we will see more consistencies than inconsistencies in wear overall. Also, less wear, and better wear if you will. Easy to work on a clean motor. This bitch sucked asshole.

Depending on the weather WOLFMAN! I may be down.
I know I'm not going anywhere until atleast 8.30. Who brought it up to begin with...? I'm too lazy to check back to see who mentioned it. Maybe they could chime in and let us know where it is.
I've personally never been.
Was it Darryle?

I called a few buddies in the West-End, they don't know anything about it. Apparently the car & some bikes get together on Monday nights at 400 & 7 plaza, but as for Wed, no one knows. May take a pass.
Maybe LL tomorrow night.

Thanks for asking.......Dyno chart attached. For reference purposes a 2012 stock ZX-14R made 183hp (SAE) on Dan's dyno at Champion Cycle. Note - the n2o pull was done (first time tune) with safer VP C-12 race fuel, the chart shows we immediately lost 10hp 'on the motor' pre-juice, due to the added octane. We're of the opnion that now that we have the tune defined, we can run the bike on pump 94, which should net more HP while avoiding any detonation.
