As a child I rode a 50cc Honda dirtbike growing up, then moved up to a 75/80/85cc, can't remember exactly.

Wow, just realized I have a serious problem! All this and 2006 was my first year riding on the street, I'm 29 years old now. Of all the bikes I've had I've only really had 3 love affairs, my Ducatis, my Super Glide Custom and the ZX-14. There was just something about the ZX-14 that was perfect for me. Actually looking at a super clean 2012 ZX-14R right now with 3200 miles that I could pick up for next to nothing, as you guys have called the market is saturated which sucks if you're selling but is awesome for me to buy!

Wow cghorr01, that's a serious list for someone that started out in 2006 on the street. Bravo to you.

If I could afford it I would have one of each (every bike that I like, and that's a long list)

Started riding at 5 years old on a 1972 Honda MR 50 elsinore, and rode that almost daily until I was 10. After that I rode ATV's primarily, and rode my friends 1990 KX125 quite a bit. Didnt get back into bikes until 2005 when I bought myself a brand new Pearl Magma Red 05 ZX-10R. Rode that for 3 years then sold it to get back into hot rods. Fast forward to 2013 and the bug was biting me pretty hard, so I purchased my current 2013 SE 14R.

1995 ZX-9R (very 1st street bike that I got in '96, loved it, wrecked it, I miss it)

1998 ZX-9R (bought brand new in '98, it was a little lighter and quicker than the '95 and handled a little better but not as comfortable as the '95, miss the '95)

2000 ZX-12R (great, fast, beautiful bike that I sold in '04 because of financial troubles. A lot of untapped potential when I had her, I only put a slip-on pipe and nothing else, I miss it)

2014 ZX-14R (This is the BEST ANYTHING that I have ever owned, PERIOD! The fastest, most powerful, most comfortable, best looking, most high-tech, easiest to ride BEAST BIKE in the world........but I digress

I bought myself a brand new Pearl Magma Red 05 ZX-10R

I wanted that 2004 ZX-10R soooooo bad but couldn't afford it at the time, that was a monster bike. How did you like the '05 Nastynotch?

I still miss that bike. To me even by today's standards it looks modern. It was a nasty raw bike for sure though. Handled like a 600 with seat of the pants power that to me rivals the 14R. I'd own another one right now if my finances allowed it.

That's the one everybody talks about. Still a great choice if you can find one in good shape and if you have the balls to ride it hard. 05-06 isn't it?

When the 1990 ZX-11 was produced and when I saw that commercial of the ZX-11 going over the Golden Gate Bridge, I was hooked, I wanted a street Bike. I was lusting after, like extrapolator, the Kawasaki ZX-11 'The Ninja' and have been a Kawasaki fan ever since.

It's the 04-05 10R, I doubt I will ever get rid of mine. She's my street bike now and I still walk buddys on their 4th gens. lol She does have a mild built motor though.
