Why does only 1 eye get something in it? Would it be better with a 'zx' in one and the '14' in the other? I wish I had any idea how to make stuff like that so I could experiment myself.

I like the way it looks, just not 100% sold on the Ride Hard or Stay Home bit.

I posted a thread calling for suggestions. I like the Ride Hard go Home, but I would be happier if we could find something rad that suits us (in my opion with more edge). I generally just ride hard, and Beast so do you! But the go home part is...ify!

Something like, Ride Hard Die Later, or Ride Hard and Fcuk thr Police' or Busa Killaz or Kings of Speed

Caroobs, of course you can have a chapter and a patch. When I send it out for printing, I'll post it to see who wants one. The more people that order the better the cost to us! In fact if any member on this site has access to printing or an organization that can save us some denaro, I would love that information. We need to help each other when we can.

International RC chapters are def cool.

Wolf, I was thinking of incorporating a sprocket in there somewhere. I'm still at work, when I put the kids to bed I'll have a look. I'll try and come up with a few tag lines as well. I like beasts idea of "life starts at...." But we need to print up some 200mph badges for our south of the border Nation brothers and sisters.

Hey Caroobs. With the 14 in one eye it looks like the skull is looking at the bike and the 14 of the logo is glimmering in his eye. That the way I see it. With ZX in one and 14 in the other, it looks to busy. Just my opinion. You guys decide.

I like this. Very clever, but I don't think anyone other than 14 riders will get it.

I personally like the ZX and the 14 in the sockets - We can individualize by bike with the colour of the 14 - green if yours is green, red if red, and so on and so forth. I'm digging the sprocket.
I am just not sure of the saying....
Also, I don't think it needs the hyphen before and after the saying on the bottom - just the saying i think.
We're narrowing it down.
Wolf was sketching something too yet - hopefully he weighs in soon - I think he and AJ are working on papa's bike this evening so maybe later on he will post.

I'm not set on the saying, it was just a suggestion. There's oodles of stuff we can come up with. Personalizing each patch with colors to match our bikes I think would get way expensive as opposed to having one standard patch.

I also liked the idea of incorporating everyone's state on the patch, ON, NY, MN, etc. but then again, it's personalizing and could get expensive. We can work that out once we get to that point.

Dave, I love the most recent version with the sprocket. Bloody sharp, really sharp. The 14 should be in one eye only, with this I fully agree, two 14's, one in each eye, is in my opinion, way too busy.

I'd like to weigh in, I have a young artist collaborating on some design ideas, he has been drafting some ideas, but like all talented artists, timelines are up in the air. He sketched some skull designs that blew me away, so I am anxious to see how these are evolving.

Should have something on Friday, I hope. That said I love Dave's layout. Once I scan the sketches we can decide what we want to do. What we incorporate, what we drop. I love the collaborative creative process. Amazing what we can do when we work toward a mutual goal. Dave for a guy who claims to lack design skills, your designs have been really creative and impressive.

The saying Life starts at 300 is my favorite line...by far! It emphasizes our enthusiast perspective, and does not push the outlaw angle. I dig...

I will agree uniform patches will be cost effective...I am sure we will meet everyone's unique qualities in one patch!

Keep the skull pistons zx 14 Nation. Cost nothing but practice-practice-practice. Now the costs fly. Background a back road is one patch. Background a drag strip is another path. Axe the chain and sprocket

My opinions-

The 14 in one eye puts a nice emphasis on heart and soul of the club name - 14 Nation.

I think the "Life Starts at 200 MPH" should be reserved for those who have actually taken their zx14s over 200 MPH.

Also if people want their state/province on they patch then it would probably be better left up them to find someone to embroider it on the patch for them. It's cheaper and easier to make all the patches the same and less chance of someone getting the wrong one.

How about this for a saying " THE RISE OF THE 14's"

There all great designs but I'm a very simple kinda guy. I think the headlight one is the best.

Black the patches are for a Riding Club we are forming here in Toronto. Since we all ride 14's enjoy our group of friends we thought why not ride together under an enthusiast group name. I pitched the idea of a club, Dave came up with the name of the group and has been comming up with the designs. Beast and I have been sending stuff, ie pics and collaborationg on design. Beast is a wordsmith and has made several contributions on our mantra. Nasty has jumped in and wants to go international, Caroobs has also stepped forward with ideas, Black, and others have put input too. It's been a fun projects thanks for all collaboratore. We even got some very useful info on RC riding clubs and friendly advice along the way from other forum members. The process has been great!

So we are still working on a mantra, Dave I like Life Begins at 300 because it speaks to our love of speed and enthusiast nature. I also like rise of the 14's but I am having some blanks when connecting it to our personalities and group mantra! Like the ring of it, it just needs to be significant and specific to our group!

The search continues...
