Dave, good point and true. You're right when the asphalt warms up it might be a completely different ride!

Boys, hopefully next week end we dust off the bikes, the weekend after that it's my place for a gathering. We are still wondering about who is making it, and whether the first Thursday night, or first Saturday in May is preferrable.
Here is the breakdown
Thursday Night,
Meet on the 404 and Aurora Side Road (Park and Ride) 8:00-830
Ride to a mutually agreed destination for chow (recommend Owl and Firken) Steeles and Woodbine
Hang out and meet, maybe a group photo, light permitting.
Ride out...
OR
Saturday
Meet at Wolfman's Garage/House at 12 pm
Take some photos, have lunch...BBQ
Ride out...
Please let me know which outing you prefer!
Once we have consensus, I'll take a poll on who is comming.
Right now Dave905, Beastman (and crew), Wolfman (and crew) are in!
Stevie, Romans, Darryle invitation is open, what's your move?

Hey beast, I just grabbed some stainless yosh slip on's at a good price, so I'm good for pipes thanks.
Mine are gently used of course.
I'm pretty much screwed for free time until May 7th, so go ahead and I'll catch up on the next one.

Stevie and Romans worry not brows, We are going to meet as we planned, and we'll keep you posted on other venues as they come up. So it looks like Dave, Beast and I, plus some non 14 rider friends. So gentlemen can we agree on a night? Thurs or Sat? My vote is for Saturday, but as I said, up to you, I'm free Thursday night too.
If you want to attend, Romans or Stevie and things change, come on along - no pressure!

Hey gents...
A suggestion for May 4th.......
Instead of meeting at Marcell's place for the greet, then group ride and bbq. A friend that I ride with Jon has proposed going to his cottage that day for the group ride and then bbq'n up at his cottage, turn around and come back to T.O. He says his cottage is about 2 hours out of Markham. He is cool with it. Let me know how you guys feel about that.
Sorry to jack the original idea - this just seems like it could be cool too.
Thanks,
Matt aka Beast.

Boyz went out for a ride with Beast (if you can call a half hour ride, a ride). Knee is not bending enough to ride, the pain is outrageous. Looks like our next meet may be one less man! Hoping I can make it, but today showed me that two hours each way ride is just out of the question.
Cheers boyz...

Between riding for 30 min intervals I finally burned off the storage tank of gas. Felt good to get out, as long as I don't ride too long. Got some clear 3 M film put on the bike to protect the painted parts that can rub off from the seat. Had it done at a small shop here in Newmarket. Very happy with how it turned out, I must say. . Gave her a shine and parked her for the may outing, or so I hope. I hear Beast is out tonight. Any others?

I'm good with a local meet over coffee or a ride to cottage country for some bbq. Works for me either way. Marcell, if you're having trouble with the knee, I'm not sure a four hour ride is going to help it along lol....
On a positive note, looks like we have a warm weekend coming!
