Hi Rook , the Vandemon H2 / H2R ti pipe is made in Japan basically , for Aussie exhaust company Vandemon . It is a replica of the original H2R exhaust , but more resistant to the reported cracking failures experienced by that pipe fitted to factory H2R . It is widely known as a top performance pipe , and imo and a lot of owners before me , the only pipe to get for H2 / H2R . This pipe saves 12kg over stock H2 , so my stockish H2 now weighs under my lightened ZX14R , wet weights respectively .

YES, I thought the H2 had a big honkin stock muffler on it. YEAH that H2R replica is how an H2 should look. Most importantly, it gives you the best performance and a huge weight loss! I'm jelly bro. Jelly, jelly, jelly!

Hi Rook , haha , that is where I park my bikes all year bro , in the house . I just get one out to ride , then back in again once it cools down after the ride .
I got a good mate wanting to buy my ZX14R , he is selling up his Busa drag bike . I dont really want to sell it , but , said if he can get the dough together , then he can have the bike . I only let him have this deal , he has been an old mate since I was 19 , now I'm 55 , and he is 67 . I figure it will be his last kick arse street bike , and he loves my 14 build . Its pretty much set up to be able to road race a bit ,u can lower it and drag it a bit , and street ride it as is . Anyway , has till the end of month to get it happening , then I cut off deal .
I got out on the KTM , first good ride in the hills , still restricted mode because running it in , but man , it really is the most fun in tight corners that I have ridden , possibly ever . Once run in , shit , it will be outrageous
The H2 is probably going to be booked in to get run in on dyno , then first service done by my tuner , and then Woolich tuned . I am waiting for my tuner to get an extension cable to allow tuning the bike under the seat instead of in the fairing , which is a major pain in the ass to get to .Probably looking at next year now tho .

I don't know what tuning equipment you'll have on your H2. I had my DynoJet PC5, Autotune and ignition module all three stuck with velcro to the ram air tubes right behind the meter unit on my 14. It was no problem to USB to the modules even if I were to tune on the road with a laptop. It all stayed put no problem. I used pads of velcro the same size as the back of the modules so they had max contact with the velcro stuck to the ram air tubes. Before that, I had my modules under the seat. That worked just fine but I found the space was getting limited when I added the third module.

Hi Rook , got a call today from my mate , he has pulled out of the 14 deal , man I am happy , so the Zed14 is safe . I really need it as my main ride , the KTM will also be ridden a shared amount , leaving the H2 for special rides . I also got the Sicom rotors still coming for the 14 , even so , that will be still a long way off so I hear .
I did get out on the H2 with my other mate that bought my Busa , we went to a Ducati show down the beach suburb of Glenelg SA on Sunday . We parked up and got a lot of attention diverted away from the Ducatis lol . When we left , we carved the traffic back to my joint , and both bikes got a bit of a wheelie in over the tram line track hump near home .
The H2 is amazing fun to ride , I cannot believe how comfortable I am on it . I had the choice of some pretty special Ducatis , V4SP2 Panigale even , but Ducati have now become model producers like the Japanese were like in the old days . What I mean by that is the models are superseded quickly , and although they are beautiful creations at the time of release , they are forgotten somewhat as new versions appear . So the super trick Ducati , is not as special imo , as the H2 Ninja , which just is special .

Hi Rook , just about the tuning on the H2 , I will get the ECU flashed with Woolich , no power commander or auto tune , for now anyway . With the H2 stock setup , the ECU is tucked up into the right side of fairing , and is housed in a cage I believe too . You have to pull the top fairing away from its mounts to access it , and is about a 2 hour job just getting to it I hear .. So Woolich have a cable that you can run from the ECU back through engine bay to under seat or tail piece . Obviously , only needs this connection done initially , then you can plug and play from then on . I will prepare the bike with access prepared for tuner , to then come along and do the cable and maybe finish run in / 1st service and then tune it . This is the same tuner that did my ZX14R and the Busa , so I trust him to do a good job .

I'm glad you will be keeping your 14! ...and yeah, I always enjoyed not feeling the need to upgrade to the latest model. If I had gone with a liter bike, I wouldn't have been able to keep it for long and that games just not within my financial reach.

Hi Rook , I certainly will post up install , but it will be awhile , being end of year now , and it wont be going on most likely till well after 1st tune . That 1st tune probably wont even happen till early next year , my tuner is pre booked and we still aint made a time / booking as I write this . I also got to finish run in , if the booking is way off , as well as the KTM run in and first service . Still got my Zed14 to ride anytime thankfully . All good tho , good end to year . Cheers bro .

Got the H2 up to 487km , hills riding mainly , and that seemed to me to be enough for 1st oil / filter service by my Kawasaki mechanic / tuner and also Woolich cable fitted and then tuned for pipe / filter and best fueling . I got the bike tuned with the decibel killer fitted , and this 2023 model has new fueling restrictions from Kawasaki that need to be figured out , in which we have Woolich on board for nutting it out . So , this is it until winter , then I will have all the kit I am still putting together fitted up and then H2 will get tuned again . T have shaved 16.7 kg off the bikes wet weight of 238kg , so the power to weight is 1 bhp to 1 kg . Now looking forward to the wheels arrival and once other pieces I then also fit to add to weight loss , I will be really happy .

Hi Mokaw , thanks for your kind words mate , yes , I am looking forward to a good ride , I am just putting it back together , and we got a push bike event clogging the hills I ride this week , so will be onto it soon as . The tune was done in 35 degree Celsius in shade the 2 actual days on dyno , and at 30 ft above sea level I think . Anyway , this is going to be good for my limited skill set for awhile lol , but I am itching to get that next stage tune / development happening. Cheers mate , I keep you posted .

Hey Rook , yes , I still only got a quick blast on it since tune , but it feels quicker already , enough for me to get use to for awhile anyway . I will get a blast in this week and report back .
