Hello! Just bought a new green/black 2014 ZX14r and my first sport bike! I've owned Honda cruisers, Goldwings, Harley Roadkings (still have my '08 SE Roadking), a Vrod and now this beauty. First ride impressions...WOW! this thing is smooth as silk and suspension just glides over the road bumps that would normally jar me a lot on other bikes. It's also quite comfortable to ride. I admit I was always cautious about getting a sport bike cause of the riding position and everyone I know saying how uncomfortable they are but soon as I saw the 14r I fell in love with the styling.

I watched youtube ride reviews, read a lot of forums including this one about the bike and just researched it overall. Traded the Vrod and after the first 40 miles I didn't look back! Love this bike!

Glad you are enjoying the new bike. I had only ridden cruisers before the 14, too. The riding position took some getting used to so be careful. I thought I pretty much had normal riding down but had a few surprises when I first started riding the 14.

Welcome to the ZX club. You may actually find that your ZX is more comfy than many cruisers. You aren't sitting directly on your tailbone so it spreads the weight around better. Post up some pics when you get some!
