Rock Guard

Does anyone have the 3m film protection on their 14's??? THere is a place in town here, but its freakin expensive.... but with all the freakin gravel they throw on the streets here it may be a good investment, seeing how the city doesn't have it cleared until mid July.... here is the link..... http://catalog.shadowtinting.com/partquery/search you have to search and the 14 is listed under 07....

I have the "rockguard" film on my gas tank to protect from my jacket. The stuff is tough as nails and works good.
I don't know if it's the same as the 3M. I got it at one of the auto-trim places in town.

They sell the 3-M film in sheets at most auto parts stores here in NY. I bought a 1' x 1' sheet and cut my own out for the part of the tank that faces you. It was only $4.00 and is damn near impossible to see from a distance. Also put a tank pad on top of it for added protection.

ya gonna pay that, it has a lifetime guarantee on install (peeling, bubbling etc..), and 7yrs or something on the product against fading etc... Maybe I am a sucker I know you can buy the kits and do it myself, I would rather have it done right in case I f**K it up!!! I had it done on my truck when I bought it and it cost almost $800.... I sometimes wonder why shit is more expensive up here as compared to down there in the US.... maybe cause Americans aren't gullible enough to pay outrageous prices on vehicles and other shit...... Or mybe its our dollar which was worth more at one time last yr and then tanked again....
