THAT'S REMARKABLE!! Extremely fast even for a boosted bike, No?

Ya, I know that's 222 mph but that still seems quite fast even for a boosted bike. I also think I heard that figure reported for top speed on the track tests. This is just the beginning. They said that engine is capable of a lot more boost. There'll be a way to crank up the boost and we'll hear 235 I'll bet. Who knows hoe fast it will go.

You know Rook..that H2R has over 300hp as is.To be putting out a low mph as it seems to do...I just don't know.Something isn't right with these tests? The H2 flashed with a gearing change will EASILY top 200mph.With the H2R gearing.42 rear...18 front. It should be doing well over 222 mph.Don't you think so?Maybe I'm all wrong on this deal.

The flashed and piped H2...making approx 240hp...it can't get past 190.Because of the gearing.Mine is limiting at 14K...that's the flash upgrade. The main one that is.Disabling the throttle limits is part of that flash. They now stay open all the way up...which translates to around 34 lbs of boost at 14K.If I put that rear on there,MY bike would hit 220 at least.IDK WHAT'S stopping that H2R from climbing well into the upper mph range.Gearing? If they lowered the front by 1 or 2 teeth....what would result?

I guess we'll have to see who tops 200 on the H2 first. IDK enough about it either but taller gearing should help. They often do that with the 14 for LSR but there are still aeros to contend with. If the modded H2 is redlining at 190 mph, gearing should prevent that but it also might weaken acceleration enough to prevent it from hitting 200. The cure for everything is more hp and I think there will be a way to get that with the stock equipment. If the H2 climbs right up to 190, I would think gearing would get it to 200. The H2R is already there. At that speed, it takes a lot of hp to go even a couple mph faster. I'd be pretty happy with 222. ...but if 230 can be had, why not?

"also might weaken acceleration enough to prevent it from hitting 200"..hitting 200 where?.I don't have those 'mile' constraints around hyar.

Be careful buddy, 200 mph on a public road is not advisable, a lot can happen at that speed and most of it's not going to be good.... just sayin

I hear ya Kruz...I don't know WHY I think I need to do something like that. It's so foolish.Well...190,she was very stable.
Probably just back up from doing this sort of thing anymore.Hell...I don't NEED to do it.I'm just out there riding, thinking 'gonna just have a nice cool ride today...enjoy the 70-85-90 mph little curves or whatever'.Then that straight opens up...I don't even THINK about doing it...I just open her up(same as my 14)and there I am..pegged.IDK what it is.But it's really NOT a safe thing out there. Thanks for the concerns...I gotta grow up and think more about the 'normal' kind of riding.

I've had my share of high speed hijinks. And hospital stays. Why push it?I don't think if I wreck again I'm gonna make it.I know gearing the bike will push her well past 200.She's definitely got what it takes motorwise.Somehow 'knowing it' just isn't the same as 'doing it'.You know what I mean.

Okay...right here...I say.."I won't push her anymore".Just focus on runnin the curves and keepin it sane.

Yep, I had a near miss yesterday out on my favorite twisty road, came out of a corner way above the limit and a local LEO flashed his red and blues but did not come after me. I waved and kept going and he went on his way. They seem biker friendly out here in the countryside to a point, I think he was just warning me to keep the speed down but I don't want to push the envelope too far, after all I live out here now. Don't want to put a damper on your fun just use some common sense, there's nothing to prove to anyone, ride safe!

Reminds me of a ride with a local guy a few weeks ago, we were both on our ZX-10Rs, he wanted to do 150 mph on those two lane country roads, I waved him on and kept it sane. I quit doing the big speed anymore and just do my hunting in the corners.

"Don't want to put a damper on your fun"..you're not...smart to wave that guy on...two lane high speed deals on the country (roads)....not me.I had my first wakeup call on one...trying to follow a friend on my 07.

Well grn, i want you to be safe and all but if you're doing 190 already, another 10 mph isn't going to be a whole lot riskier. The actual doing of the 200 mph is not that dangerous, it's more "how many times can I do it before something unexpected happens". Pick your times and places carefully, that's all.

That's pretty much how I look at the speed deal myself.Gonna die at 190 regardless...IF something goes wrong.

Ahh...it's cool Kruz.He's right though.LOL!

Sometimes just a few mph more can actually make a difference in how these bikes respond to road irregularities. What might be fine at 190...might go totally wrong at 195.But these machines are built for it...so I don't worry really about that aspect(too much;) ).So far..all the vids showing this bike railing at 200+ show a stable chassis. No one's mentioned.."geez,she did this or that when I hit...."..so that's a good thing;)

In motogp; 218/351 was the duc's top speed today. That's lap after lap. Rossi caught carving around a turn at 99.4/160. The production-trickledown R&D-GP of 221/357 is a walk in the park for today's bike... as he holds his dick in one hand, points with the other, thrusts his hips and yelps; 'Suckith my Dick!

Lounge Chairide.

The 2R is set to do a parade lap of the TT course this year with BSB rider Chris Walker aboard. If the wind's in the right direction we might just be able to hear it!
