Took both out of the factory boxes tweaked both to maximum accessories.....I have the 14r will never sell it unless get too old to ride.
Traded the 10r with 1900 miles 3 months after purchase along with c14 traded them in on a new Goldwing.
Liked the 10r but very uncomfortable for long extended rides..the 14r with lowering link, and raised handlebars made it lots more comfortable to drive...and knowing you have the ultimate power in a motorcycle...leaves nothing else to be desired.
Lots of turns in western NC beyond imagination...10r was a bit quicker in the turns..but since I am not racing or trying to prove anything to myself or anyone else, the 14r is always in firehouse mode, mint condition and when I look at it or start it up.....I can always be proud to own it, tweak it, ride it and know it is almost impossible to beat.
So, the 10R is the .38 special, the 14r is the 44 Magnum...go figure!
