Opening day at Sonoma raceway today.. Wind gusts from teh front/side with temps in the mid to high 40s most of the day.. I got real lucky and managed second place with 19 bikes participating.. I ( and a couple of others)was/were breaking loose once past teh 60' I ran mostly 10:30s/133mph with one 9.99 at 145..At least I am in the points :)

First round, HD lit the red. Second round, Suzuki bar bike stumbled on the launch and then couldn't catch me.. Third round I got the by. Fourth round another Suzi bar bike and he caught me as we hit the finish line but broke out by .008. Then in the finals , I ran a VRod bar bike with nitrous and we both lost traction and had ugly runs..Mine was uglier and he took the win..Still, I paid for the teh costs for the day with second place $$ :)

THis was the 4th round.

Ran Jack during qualifying. He was the only other ZX14. One of these times I am actually going to beat him heads up.................maybe................if he messes up :)
