Hate to point out the obvious, but WTF is this topic doing in a 14 forum. I get it, new Kaw is exciting and all is good, but why are we giving it it's own thread. With seven topic posts and limited discussion? Everyone here knows that a properly tuned 14 with some performance goodies is still going to bury the HP2 and with a price tag (fastest accelerating $$$) we know that few will be interested. I am a Kaw man down to the core, but until the HP 2 is avail in my ergos and avail in the 15000 price range, I am just not interested.
30 000 and up for an HP, I'd rather buy a used secondary bike that runs just as fast. My 0.02 cents. Wolf will not be sucking or kissing HP ass anytime soon.

Wolfy, We had a long run of 14's. Same as the 12, the 11, the 900. Only way to make the N/A quicker is blow it and you know it.

Think of this place as Ninja Forum. Top model and soon to be old model all in one forum. If BG wants to introduce more models as the years move on [it goes so fast], did that kick you in the butt or didn't you see it coming?

There will be new owners coming to find info/rides/race/etc., just like now. So let the mods begin. I'm buying the (shop manual) novel for my bathroom reading time. I'm enjoying the ride staying up with the tech.

That angle escaped me completely. This might be end of the busa/14 war. Instead of competing, top it and then make something totally different that tops them both. That forces Suz to do the same. Either that or make a factory supped busa.

No matter. WHatever bikes come out with whatever factory equipment, there will have to be a way to make them faster than they were stock or else the old turboed bikes will have a leg up for many years.

I don't mind a separate sub forum for the top tier Kawasaki bikes. Keeps me in the loop, and I don't have to deal with some of the idiots like on the ninjah2.org board.

Do I think we should add stuff for other lesser "ninja's" IE 1000, 650r, 300, etc? HELL NO! But this bike is special. And hopefully what is learned from this exercise will lead to a new hyperbike w factory forced induction. IE the bike that we thought the 2012 zx14r was going to be. And if it does, having info at the ready, we will be ahead of the game when they do build it. I hope!

ABSOLULTELY NOT - Busa has a 1500 cc answer they've been waiting to release. Ergos are supposedly sorted out this time. I am not a Suzuki fan, but many will reach for the podium.

I am not feeling this bird yet, so we will need to see what will transpire. That said zx64man and green, if you grab one, bravo. I would still need a shoe horn to get off one and onto the wheelchair awaited my crumpled and abused frame.

My 2 cents, I could care no less or more if H2 or any other motorcycle is discussed. It could've just as easily been an extreme oriented corner carving track bike with naturally aspirated 600, but that's just not Kawi's style, more like Honda's.

As far as I'm concerned, if you don't want to discuss the H2, don't discuss the H2! Pretty simple!

Well Vic, it's sort of hard to run out to your 14/H2 you begin to discuss 600's on a 14/R site. Not only that, where are the field glitches that you find later? It was a warrant of a complete parts change to solve it. You bat your head back and forth for a factory flaw? No one even owns the bike...

... if the site is only addressing two top models.

A while back wolf wanted a poetry section and it got shot down. Sounds like the feelings haven't completely healed up yet. I don't mind the H2 talk, but was kinda surprised as well to see it get its own section.

I think the reason it is allowed to have its own section on the zx14 forum is because it has the potential to be the top HP Kawasaki bike; s position that our beloved 14R holds up to this point

I also can't see myself getting one, feelin it or not. I've got all I can handle and then some. I also don't like the idea of trading and takng a substantial loss.
And anyone who bought a new 2012 or up 14R is gonna get peanuts for it if you trade in. Selling to an individual will more than likely also be about at least a 5K blow to the wallet

I mean...the H2 is a fast ass 'track' bike....street...couldn't use one(I couldn't).So I buy one...ride it like Rossi...and then?????Crash it or somethin.It begs to be ridden hard and fast.Anything else...the price and all...even the cool new electronics and stuff...a waste on the street...IMO.The 14R is FAST enough.Carves well.Comfortable...reliable.Smooth...all the things a guy could want for a sportbike for the street.Did I mention....BIG...roomy.Solid.Free of buzz and such.Nah...I'm stayin with my Ninja...I love this bird;)

Once ya do some personal maintenance on her...she comes apart and goes back together with MINIMAL drama...that's a BIG factor in owning a bike.To me anyway.

Well, Suz came out with a turbo system but the conventional way thru the exhaust, so we need another thread title for this bike. Very advanced steering and you won't need a Muzzy or Brock, unless they can improve the flow.

Two day dealer show and then the public hits it for the weekend. Over 500 displays, 50% more space needed than last year.
