Thankyou Rook & Monty as ya no Cruising is new to me! when my Ohlins14r was in for first service my wife got me to sit on a Vulcan1600 that was just over five months ago and I said theirs no way im getting one of these till im 50 years older!now im stunned at how easy for me it,s to turn around in my drive, she is no tank like my best mate made me belive! she ables along fine in slow built up traffic, she also got an excellent rating from a retired professional rider that followed us through a lot of the ride he said he was stunned at 2 up how well the suspension/pillion and bike flowed through the twisties he luved the lines,he said we did very good,The ZX14R is a totaly different beast yes! but bros im luving my new bike!and to top off if shes going so well with a bad camber worn OEM front tyre till Monday (new one)hell she surely couldn,t get that much better again!

Hey Bean, let's test out your keenness!!!
I'm going on a two day ride with the boys on Tuesday / Wednesday next week (weather permitting but it looks pretty good).
It's a great run.
You ride up to Sydney, have a few beers on Monday night, stay at mine, ride with us Tuesday, have a few beers Tuesday night at the destination, ride Wednesday and come back to Sydney, for something different have a few beers that night, stay again at mine and then you can ride back home on Thursday.
Simple.
The Adelaide/Sydney run isn't that bad on a comfy machine like yours...
P.S.
If you come along you can take a ride on my 14R and that would be that.
You'd be back in the Kawa dealers at the first opportunity you had when you got back home...

I promised him as we were both injured riders recovering we would have a beer or two together! Last March three weeks after he got his generic prosthetic right leg we had a lot more than a few! half way between Bendigo and Gawler SA!

Hey there, Old bean! Obama will retire (not) soon enough. Quite a show the republican lineup has at the moment. I've been waiting 15 years for someone to come in and shake things up. Anything but conventional. I'll go in any direction as long as it's not the same course we've been on for the last 4 elections.
Glad you're out and riding, bro. The arctic air is creeping in over here and the bikes are going into hibernation. I'm hoping for better riding next Spring. Bikes will be stored in a heated brand new warehouse (aircraft hanger, really) along with a fully restored WWII glider. Nice bedroom for the bikes but that probably means NO wrenching fo Rook this winter. That's ok. I've got plenty of other crap to do. Never did get around to all the work I had planned on the bikes but I suppose there will be time later on. The 14 is becoming quite a sight to see though.
