The photography is awesome. The clarity and detail in the picture draws your eyes in. Bike looks super sharp. Keep smiling.

cool! go to Adobe to download your free 30 day trial. Get illustrator while your at it. $20/month or $200/year if you buy one. Actually comes to about the same as buying on disc which will be outdated on new computers in 6 years. 6 years of moderately heavy use is what a Mac will take. ...almost like they planned it that way.

Not nearly as useful for photographic results as Ps but once you figure it out, it compliments Ps very well. For hard edged stuff like what is common in machinery and graphics, it is awesome. You can use Ps to soften it as much as you need. If you use transparent shapes, you can almost get the effect of airbrushing. It's hard to pick one over the other but once you become familiar, I think Ai is actually better for editing photos of hard objects. I would suggest Ps for anyone with no experience but once you've used both, you have to have both.

Tonight I went back with a friend to the same spot, and was able to finally try painting with light without any interruptions. The first image is untouched, no software editing, no light painting.

So late last night I rode my bike to the Philadelphia Museum of Art where Sylvester Stallone took his Rocky famous (Rocky Steps) climb in preparation for his fight. Ever since I got my bike I've been wanting to take a photograph with the Philly skyline in the background at night.

People do it all the time, but driving a vehicle in that area is prohibited. Initially, a security officer said no, but eventually changed his mind and allowed me to take pictures for a few minutes. Hell, it took five minutes just to set up the camera gear and adjust the settings. It is extremely hard to get sharp focus in the dark.

So I had to rush the photoshoot because the security officer was getting uncomfortable. I am sure the image would have looked much better if I had a little more preparation and time to compose the image instead of a 15 seconds exposure. I would have preferred to use 30 seconds exposure, or "bulb mode", but that's a story for another day.

Thank you guys. Remember, I am just starting in photography.

As I said in one of my earlier blog posts, (Post Processing - Before and After Photos), using photo editing software for post-processing is the key. The thing is that most photographers won't tell you that they make their images look amazing by enhancing it further in post-processing. If you take a look at the link of the"BEFORE and AFTER", images of St. Patrick Cathedral in New York City you would understand.

It has been a learning process, hopefully soon I will get some better pictures to post.

WoW! Looks like a painting ...

It sure does. It's the reason why I prefer night photography, "painting with light" and lighting different parts of the bike give images a dramatic look. And when you add editing software like Photoshop Elements and Topaz Adjust, they can improve any image. As Tic Tac Trump used to say, "tremendously".
