Please tell me you have plans for those howitzer exhaust pipes.

I plan to purchase an Akrapovic 4-2-1 race full system that fits the 2008-2011. Ivan swears that system fits the 2012+ models and it saves a lot of weight while only giving up 1-3hp so that seems the most logical choice for our land yacht ^_^

I can't speak for the Akro systems, but my Brock's system is compatible with all years. I'd imagine the same holds true for the Akros.

2016 ZX-14R SE ABS (Harambike) - Brock's Ti Dual CT, 2WDW Flash, double bubble windscreen, Givi Tanklock 15L with 12v outlet, SW Motech Quick-Lock Evo Contour rack with Givi V35 bags, SW Motech tail mount with Coocase Wizard top box, KAOKO cruise control, fender eliminator, Vortex rearsets, Vortex V3 fuel cap, Vortex spools, Stompgrips, PSR SBK passenger pegs, Helibars risers, R&G radiator guard, frame plugs, Starrotors 55w 6K HIDs, Brembo MC/Rotors/Calipers, braided steel brake lines. 204hp/120tq

2013 ZX14R (Mjölnir)- Brock's Ti CT Meg, 2WDW Flash. 202hp 119tq. RIP

2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R trackfighter - Yoshimura R55, PCV, Servo Eliminator, Traxxion AK20 Cartridges, Penske Triple Clicker shock, EBC HH pads, Pirelli Superbike SC2 slicks, custom subframe, RSV4 tail, Ignition relocate, KX450F number plate, Apex adjustable clipons, CRG levers, Lever guards, Vortex rearsets, Stomp Grips, XT Lap Timer. 188hp, and not as much tq as the 14R!

Sadly though, when I change the exhaust I will be disallowed from hitting certain tracks that have a dBa limit so right now the OEM cans do serve a purpose.

The 4-2-1 system saves 22lbs vs 15lbs of the 2 can system for this year, seems worth it for a loss of a minor amount of top end. Not like this bike needs any more top end anyways! Couple that with the Shorai battery I already swapped to and the only thing left to swap for weight savings would be rims I think.

It's about to be that time again! Got to the edge of the 200/55 tires FINALLY and was absolutely flying on the track but I will say this: I was getting frustrated getting stuck behind slower riders and not being able to pass them on the outside because if I went out I couldn't carry enough speed and lean far enough without lowsiding to actually pass them, did end up passing a few people on the outside of an apex because I was super pissed about that though. Oh, I did manage to spin the rear tire on corner exit finally but I am pretty sure the tires were just beginning to wear out and that was the first sign of that happening.

Despite all the mistakes I made in line this was my second fastest lap. I shaved off a further 2 seconds by cleaning up the line later but the camera ran out of battery. I did throw up a little in my mouth when I realized how hot I was entering turn 1...

Did I say your an ANIMAL? YOU ANIMAL!!

Apexing looks excellent as you approach the two riders ahead of you toward the end. Getting to know that track, hey? Awesome. Do I see a little drift at 0:39? Think it's turn 3. Be careful!

LOL yeah, you have to get way ahead of those track bikes so you don't slow them down in the corners! ...in their dreams.

That was me shaking my head because I was so pissed I messed the line up that much.
Getting to know that track, hey?

I wish this wasn't my home track so I could plead ignorance but I was just off that day. As clean as the last corners were even that is sloppy for how I normally do on the whole thing. I am pissed with myself but decided I would post it as a good depiction of what not to do.

If you take a 14 to the track you better be looking at the other end of the straight before you even get on it.

I see a lot of traffic or, call it people in the way. One guy has the lean on but I had those guys riding by me at my track day too. Its hard, do you move up a level? I think so! Be angry about your performance? NO! Get behind better riders and learn more!

My line was too fucked up to be going up with the cleaner riders I used to ride with. It is pretty clear I have the speed to run with them but I am constantly reacting to perceived incorrect responses from the bike. I came from an FZ1 that I had turned into a complete race bike and that shit was easy to throw around and this is easier and more difficult at the same time. I can change directions much more easily but being lower to the ground than the last bike I feel like I am at my limits and still run wide. Followed a bunch of coaches Sunday which really helped me and then I saw this picture, where in the moment I thought I was at my bike's limit but then I went even harder and found out I was not even close to it, which put that shit to bed. Unfortunately brute-forcing my way through a mental barrier like that exhausted me and the next session I was a danger to every other rider on the track so I pulled myself off and called it a day. Next track day will be in November most likely cause I got a very specific coach wanting to spend the whole day with me and get me ready for "the next thing" as he calls it.
