Adjustable stock rear sets?
11/21/12 5:54 PM

I have been looking around and i have seen some people have used the buell pegs. I don't know how many people have had pigeon toe issues with the buell pegs like i did. I found this set up a while back so i thought i would share.

I have installed the "Stock Rear-set Relocation Brackets" by Two Wheel Werks, I also had a shifter lever modified to be adjustable from Stock, .5", 1.0" & 1.5". I feel the most comfortable with it being extended 1" so far.

These Rear-set brackets are absolutely awesome though. They only move the Rear-set out 1/4 of an inch (unlike buell pegs or others out there), and they have 6 different sets of adjustment. (They move the rear-set up .5" & back .75" or 1.25, Stock height & back 1.0" or 1.5", Down .5" and back .75" or 1.25") Way better than anything i have found. And not too bad on the pocket book either at $85 bucks for a set.

The only down fall some could have is exhaust. If you are running the stock pipes these brackets will not be able to lower the pegs, you will only be able to move them backwards or up. If you are running slip on pipes most likely these brackets will act the same as with stock pipes. I have personally ran these brackets with Brocks, Tsukigi and a Muzzy exhaust on my 2009 and now use them on my 2012.

So if your running an aftermarket exhaust and want a bit more leg room (i did as i am 6'4") than these may be an easy and inexpensive option.

Couple Q:

1. How is the shift lever throw with the lever extended?

2. Are all the adjustment holes on the brackets threaded or do they use through-bolts?

The throw on the shifter is practically the same, I cant tell a difference in shifting with it being extended.

And yes all the holes on the brackets are threaded.
