Hi all, back in 2008 I grabbed an Atomic Silver 2008 ZX14. It is a fantastic bike but...now I am starting to think time to change and having been looking at the Ducati Monster 1200S. Clearly a test ride in necessary, but has anyone tried the Monster 1200S...if so how did you find it? Most of my riding is day or weekend trips.

Have ridden the new 1200S, it is an amazing bike. Tons of grunt everywhere in the rev range and pleasure to ride! It would be a great bike to 'daily', VERY user friendly.

Too slow. Not enough power. I rode the pants off one and it felt kinda doggy everywhere. Top speed was ridiculously low. I dont think it broke 140mph smashed hard against the stop flat out. I tried. Looks cool, sounds cool, but the fact is its just a little guy power-wise. Handling was excellent and gave great feedback. Brakes are crazzzeeee good.
