Just found out that a fellow biker (FJR1300) who was a member on another forum I belong to, was killed over the weekend in Florida. In the process of trying to find out what happened, I stumbled onto this sad video of a ZX14 rider who totaled his bike the same day, also in Florida. Not a good day for Florida riders.

Two tragedies....wow. Two lives just like that, snuffed out.

As much as I'd like to see that person in the SUV go to prison for manslaughter, it won't bring back that 24 yo. Whatever happened with OpenRoads friend, it can't be undone. Everyday we choose to get out of bed (or even stay in it), our lives are on the line. Throw that leg of the saddle, it's unfortunate but we all just increase our risk that little bit more. That's just reality.

2015 riding season is just coming around, started for some already. Be careful out there people.

Here is the info a friend shared. I only knew him online, but we shared lots of biker stories, working on bikes, how he installed a radar detector on his bike, etc.

2 bikers killed, 1 motorist within hours of each other in Florida. All separate accidents.

I keep reading this stuff and I will have to start just looking at my motorcycle instead of riding it.......Terrible way to go......

My condolences also....sorry to hear this.We've lost two here this season already.It's just starting.Not good.I'm gonna have to dial my riding(style) back some for sure.I know I've been living on borrowed time the way I've ridden thinking all was okay.
