Thinkn about a turbo kit stage 1 for my 2013 and getting different opinion's about weather or not to beef up the internals or leave alone , planning on at least one mile race to get my 200mph bucketlist checked off , then just going to cruise with it , got $ for kit but not to beef up the internals yet , thinkn doing kit , then do innards later on , looking for thoughts , Thx , keep cruising .

Romans has gotten away with some pretty high boost using stock internals. He recommended stiffer valve springs, clutch springs, billet oil pump cover and minor upgrades like that but the pistons, crank, cylinders, valves were stock. Well over 300 hp. I know he used a slider lockup clutch on one bike. No milling, porting, degreeing. The heart of the motor was OEM.

To answer your question
I purchased Rick Roman's 2012 turbo 14R that had stock internals and went 210mph at Loring Maine.
So yes If you pull the trigger you will be able to cross 200mph off your bucket list!!

But it is ADDICTIVE!!!

2004 zx12 1290cc 191std HP 495 lbs
2014 zx14r 195sae HP 520 lbs
2014 Loring AFB 14 runs over 200mph
with a best of 208.1 in 1.5 miles
and 204.5 in the mile.
Now the Turbo 14R - best of 223.1 in the mile and 224.6 in the 1.5

I've been 185 mph in the 1/4 mile i can only guess what mine would run in another 1 and 1/4 mile with all stock parts except springs and injectors
