Yee HAW

So, I hadn't been on the bike for 2 weeks and had the twitches. Headed out at 7 am to meet George ( Tuono) and Albert ( FZ09) at the top of 92 then headed to Alices for eggs and coffee. Albert wasn't feeling is so he headed home after breakfast. George and I decided to go down 84 to Pescadero then up the coast and ocme back up 84. I wore my race leathers this day because I was feeling frisky...
Headed down the hill. Many nice technical turns on the way down. Pitching the bikes back and forth under a blue sky through the shadows under the redwoods. We were going quite a bit faster than our usual pace, like I said...frisky.
Got to the coast. Blue skies, calm water, perfect conditions and almost NO traffic. Wheeee!
Went north to Hwy 84 and headed back up the hill. Hwy 84 has some really sweet constant radius turns up under the trees. I hustled the big girl through there, laying her on her side. The bike was just so nice, so planted...I just love it. We whistled back up the hill in record time and got back to Alices for a short B.S. session before heading home. Got done before the squids showed up to start their weekend circus.
All in all, a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning.

I haven't ridden in weeks. Tires are worn through on both bikes and I have too many other projects going. Shame to waste this unseasonably warm weather but I know I won't ride the 14 until next year if I don't wrap things up soon.

I put about 50 miles on the 14 so far this year.

ooo--that's rough, Grn. You'll be just like a kid with new toys when you ride again. That's sort of how I feel rearranging everything and getting it all set up. It's sort of like modding everything just how I want it all over again. Now this bike has almost everything I ever dreamed of. I never thought it would ten years ago.

Should have shot me a text, I went out solo on Saturday. Tried to make new friends but everyone wanted to hang out and bench race so I ended up just riding around by myself. Let me know when you go out again, I had the Suspension re-adjusted by Rob over at Evolution.
