Thanks for getting me some more comparison feedback Smoke. The mid range is where I want to be the strongest and I'm guessing where most of the street riders want to see the most improvement.

Hate to see two of my friends go back and forth!
Matt your turbo bike is a monstrous beast, pushing 300plus hp. She is a beautiful work of performance art. I would also say you ride with the warrior spirit of Budo. No one has ridden the current version of the Cflash I have in my bike right now. It is a huge step forward from version one. Now I can't compare it to other flashes (have not ridden any) in fact I rode an early flash of Romans that he prepped so that my bike could be dyno tuned. I would say this Cflash is excellent. So, for the record, the Cflash current version from an NA perspective is outstanding. Brilliant if I must say. If you remember Beast I also rode your turbo bike and I will also ride your turbo bike this summer. I of course will invite you to ride my Cflash with 100 shot of NOS. This will be fun, but in reality who are we kidding. I have two kids, and an average bloke. I love racing when I can, but realistically I am not a drag race professional nor moto gp super star - I would say very few of us on here are. I'm just a reg cat who's been riding for 21 years. Our comparisons are about shakes and adrenaline rushes from riding hard. Not race assessments. Our victories are about whom raced whom and who has the craziest burn out wheelie etc!!!
My point, C has refined the Flash in a way that is out right impressive. If you want to explore boost Romes is the source. Beast you too are becoming a great protege and will no doubt stand close to Romes. This is a flash site. Let's not sling arrows. Realistically C does not ride with Beast and Vice Versa. Your both cool cats with a lot in common. Suck it up - and move on.
Smoke sorry to hear you have not been well. I hope u get well soon. Hubs nice to see you back in top form.
Hello all you cats!

Wolfy, the same. Here is my conclusion riding this thread is more how I vision this flashing business...
Ivan? I don't know if you are slipping, had your 15 minutes of fame with the 14 or say, the gen1 was all about seeing Ivan for the creamy setup? Here with the gen2 and the flashing beginning to turn the pig semi-obsolete, it seems the 'Smooth' part is addressed or is on par with your tuning offers. That's their first impression with the Cflash.
We segway to this 'grunt' condition where one hands over a brick and as both riders are pretty much matched, the Cflash kind of holds the torquey torch as a flash along [with smooth]. How could you go wrong? I'm not playing favorites, I rather pull back and see the group of flashers presenting WATT to their customers?
WATTsaye, Ivan? Mo has to ride his differently. Smooth is not going to cut it anymore on these bikes. I'm just saying this as [if me] being in business and on the cha-ching side of things, sales will cut into Don's as well. So are we dropping the ball or did you have your rein on the gen1? I think you boys are in trouble.

Good post Hub. I think you'll be a believer soon.
I have to tell you, when someone asks a technical question on this forum, I really admire the knowledge you have. You get down to every detail and explain very thoroughly how things work. Sometimes you're a little over my head, but you're a very intelligent guy.

Well Hub, cause you're a very intelligent guy, what ever did happen to Cblast?
His work was questioned by some here and he seems to have all but disappeared from this forum...

I was just in Nels shop 2wheeldynoworks yesterday. He moved down to Kirkland Wa and sharing space with Optimum Performance Rider Training OPRT. Was gonna ask Nels what was up with Sebastian but forgot. Got new skins mounted up an got the bike inspected. Planning on signing up for a track day or two with some schooling through the OPRT.

Let me know when you come out to one of our events, David. I'll bring the 14R and we can go scrape some lower fairings.

I want to get out there a couple times this year. Going to be out of town for 2 weeks for work either early June or July. Just waiting to hear.
Lookin forward to learning to ride better.
