Dispatch 1 Electronic Fuse
03/23/12 11:20 AM

Arboreal Systems makes the Dispatch 1 electronic fuse controller.

On my Concours 14, I have it set up as follows:

1) USB1 - always on, connected to weatherproof USB socket on dash
2) U1 - switched, 15A, my Denali D2 LED driving lights are on it
3) U2 - switched, 10 minute delay off, GPS and XM antenna
4) H1, H2 - switched, heat controlled, go to the powerlet sockets on the bike for heated gear
5) H3 - switched, 15A, heat controlled, to my heated seat
6) H4 - unassigned

It is mounted behind the heat barrier on the right side. Nice dry, cool spot.

The remote mounts on the stick on my left handlebar mount, along with the GPS stuff. With the remote, I control H1 through H4 heat levels, and can set options for any of the ports.

I was going to hang the Stebel off U2, but even 15A isn't enough for the Stebel if you want max volume. So it will get its own hot and cold directly from the battery, with a 20A fuse.

Anyway, the Dispatch 1 is a very geeky accessory, but also very practical when you want to run a number of other electrical accessories.
