Let's get a ZX14 meet going for Deal's Gap "The Tail of the Dragon". If you have never been you will not regret it. The Dragon is a great ride with nothing like it for banked curves but the surrounding mountains, lakes and other roads like hwy 28 "Moonshiner 28", Cherohala Skyway make for an awesome riding experience. I am picking the dates of Sept 8 - 11th, 2016. The weather is usually about perfect this time of year with a mix of cool in the high country and pleasant along the dragon where you can be comfortable in textile or leather gear. If getting a bunch of ZX14s together is not enough inspiration for you this is the weekend of the Women's Sportbike Rally also.

That's also Thunder in the Smokies in Maggie Valley.

I usually take a 4 day trip that week and then come back again the middle of October. It gets a little too chilly on the Skyway in October for aggressive riding. I figure I will head up to make a run in a few weeks. Nice thing about being only a few hours away from some of the best roads on the east coast.

This looks good to me I will help pass the word around to my peps and see if we can get a few people from my area to comedown as well!

Am in western NC....Murphy 13 miles east of TN state line...looking for other 14r owner/riders that like to ride....usually hit Deals Gap for breakfast on Saturday mornings then blast off to anywhere.....

Cherhola Parkway is excellent place from Robbinsville to Tellico Plains, TN...

We have rode together a few years ago when I came to the Gap ninjawarrior1244. Planning on making a trip up in April but probably be on my Ninja 1000. I have the ZX-14 up for sale now, got Corvette fever so one of the bikes has to go.
