2009 ZX14 special edition exhaust
02/06/16 11:13 PM

my bike is in the shop for the winter and im curious to other ZX14 lovers to what are your opinions on exhaust slip ons? Im stationed in Germany and performance is key over here with nice open country roads and of course the auto bahn. last ride season i ran the Two Brothers exhaust, but i'm headed back to the states this summer and need new pipes, what do you all think? Honestly, im not looking for performance, so no Brocks and I'm highly considering VooDoo for the loud sound. whatever options u have please explain why. thank you and glad to have this forum!

Regardless of brand or loudness, you should stick with a slip-on of the same relative length as the stock pipes. Some of those shorty things can change the tuning and unless you're willing and financially able to get a reputable shop to dyno tune for the new system, you may actually LOSE some performance and rideability.
