I think just "ZX-14" in kanji would be a great T-shirt logo. 99.9% of the people you met wouldn't know what it means.

Would you put the kanji on the front and maybe a picture on the back?

Sharkey:

I was wondering if a great cornering shot might be better than a picture of a riderless bike just sitting there. Whaddyathink? -bg

I think other submissions would be great. I just kind of liked the effects I put on this one. I also like the way it shows off the lines of my bike.
It's hard to see but I have Ninja in Kanji on the windshield and down low on the side.
It's a good opportunity to get creative.

Remember guys, really detailed photographics like of a bike don't do well on low-cost t-shirts (and you don't want to make it really expensive) and some of the detail would get lost in the translation.

I know my riding club just had a patch made, and the same logo gets printed on t-shirts and such for us, and we had to make it simpler just to make it possible and look right.

BG - as for the front and back thing, I'd be happy with just the kanji on one side, but kanji on the front where the left pocket would be if it had a pocket and a cool pic on back would be cool too. I just think the kanji is cool, always have since way long ago when I worked for Amdahl and we had lots of dealings with Fujitsu.

I'd like to replace all my decals on the bike with kanji, and if I ever replace more cowling with carbon fiber, I will.

Here's a site for Kanji decals. My bike no longer has Ninja stickers in english.

Well... your zx14 looks very different than mine,
and I'm sure very different than others.

That T shirt won't work for me.

The original idea was to get others to contribute ideas, not to push the picture of my bike. I thought there was a sense of community when bg was asking about putting in ads. I guess it was a passing mood.
Ride safe y'all

Not on my end. I'd like to come up with something and have some T-shirts printed. I had thought I could put one of our designers on it before now, but they have been to busy. I guess that's a good thing... -bg

Lack of creative talent, apparently. I won't buy a silk screen of someone else's bike. LOL.

But I'd buy something which referred to the forum, and all of our motorcycles, in a creative way.

I put it on the back burner (again). There was no sense of an agreement as to what should be on it. -bg

No agreements here just some good talk and some input on what we would all like to wear on our backs. This little club we have here has alot of life in it.

Well I do understand the part of having someone elses bike on my back. I'm part of a few clubs now and we have patchs, hats, shirts, sweatshirts an pins and just about everything under the sun but this club to is all over the world like our club even the smaller clubs have hats and shirts.

I'm working on a logo now, what I'm looking for is some good "saying" quotes if you will. I will post what I have when I really have something good but I would like some input from people if you have some good ideas.

This is what I'm thinking not in any order:

1. ZX14 Nijia Forum logo
2. The year of your bike stock color of your bike
3. The stock color of your bike
4. The country your bike is from

I can keep the cost down because I have this company that makes all of out other shirts for 3 of the clubs I'm in.

So what do you think about the idea so far?

White logo wwwzx14ningaforumcom letters on a long sleeve. I ride with long sleeve t-shirts since running thin skin daddy down to grand paw tumble is more the full body armor. So, we are out, you run the t-shirt concession stand in the short sleeve. Lesson learned is for you old farts being brave on the throttle.

Long sleeves yes I like it. I do like that ZX14 do you think it is a little cartoon like? I found some others tell me if you like these better of course they would be 14's but you get the idea.

I'm having both made up as ZX14,s so we will have 3 bikes to look at.
