I had initially planned to ride to New Hope, PA, to meet up with friends. In case you didn't know, on the weekends New Hope turns into biker heaven. There are literally hundreds of motorcycles running up and down Main Street. I tried to persuade them to ride with me to Lake Nockamixon, to no avail. I ended up going further up north, and staying overnight in Mount Pocono.
This was a last minute, about 500 mile trip and mini-retreat getaway. I wish I had breakfast in bed every morning! lol After a well-deserved night's rest and a succulent breakfast, continued around the loop to Lewisburg, Harrisburg, Oxford and back to Philly. Did I mention I love summer? lol
