Come on by if you're staying elsewhere or even stay at Carolyn's.

If you hang around for the party in the parking lot each night, you may want to re-think that.

Highly recommended. I was there at the big Best Western a few months ago for the COG National Rally, and the riding there is fantastic.

Warning..... the roads are highly abrasive and if you aren't a little careful (read: dial it back a bit) you may not have enough tire to ride home.

Made it home last night about 6 with around 1300 miles on the clock for the weekend. John hit it on the head; my back tire didn't survive. After the trip down and one day of twisties, it looked pretty bad, especially the right side. I knew I wouldn't have enough to do another full day, much less that and the trip home, so Friday afternoon, I had a tire mounted at Yamaha of Harrison. cost a little more than buying a tire on the 'net and mounting and balancing it myself, but in a pinch, whaddya gonna do?. The guy at the shop said he had seen a lot of tires worse on the left than the right, but never saw one shredded on the right more than the left like mine was. I guess I turn harder to the right than the left. The left chicken strip on the new tire is slightly larger than the one on the right.

I am heading there hopefully next spring... right after the moto GP at circuit of the Americas would be perfect. I have got a Buttler Map of the area and it looks sweet! Colorado and South Dakota are also on the list.
