This is great for the championship. Marquez will come back strong and win most of the races but at least the championship will not be done and dusted half way through the season.

What has gone wrong with Lorenzo? He is totally lost right now.

hes not going to win the championship, I didn't really see the replay to clearly ...

Lorenzo had some sickness all week so recovery was not 100%. He's not having some head game with MM. Too seasoned for that kind of shit, no?
To me it looked like MM turned into Rossi's back wheel as if hitting a wall and it would not steer past that. MMQB says, if only MM sat up straight, blew the turn; he'd be in 2nd if not make the Best race of the Year so far... even better!

the more I look at it, it looks like rossi took out Marquez front wheel, I guess the sanctioning body
will decide ....

cara, they did within a lap or two. Too obvious if you ask me. The [speedifferentials]-timing/the positions/the turn = Racing incident plain and simple. I'm sure there's a slow-mo in a few days on the tube.

The doctor made a clean pass and held his line. Marqez should of got him back clean the next corner or two not try and crash him out. Ida took 2nd instead of a dnf. when marqez got caught and passed, he got a good look at the doctors rear wheel and thru an ego fit. he's bad ass but rooked out.

It's obvious that it was Marquez who caused the contact.

I'm not a racer, but around 1:04 it sure looks like rose's rear tire swung over to MM front
wheel, and took him out ....

the thing is, that a lot of people are saying things like "Marquez ran into the back of Rossi"
not on this board, but many places ....

I mean alls fair in love and war, but he didn't exactly run in to the back of Rossi's tire ....

There's now way Rossi intentionally did anything to take MM out. Rossi could have very easily gone down himself.

Maybe he didn't intentionally take him out, but it sure looks like the rear tire of rossi
cut over to the front tire of MM, but its racing, so these thing happen, no matter who's
fault it is ...

its a shame he is putting himself in these positions, (if thats what it is) because when
he is on, he is really good, thats saying something when riding against rossi, lorenzo,
pedrosa, etc ...

I really liked that effort too, to bad his bike was dead, it would have been so cool to see him get back on and go for it!

Rossi was AHEAD of Marquez when contact was made. You can't ride looking behind you. Marquez should have settled for 2nd, Rossi was catching him by .7 a lap by then. I think that with his tires burned up the only way MM could have beat the Doctor was to block him. Maybe it was because MM knew that he couldn't run Rossi's pace that made him desperate to stay in front. Rossi is a pretty smart cookie. Maybe he is getting in MM's head like he used to with Giberneau and Stoner.

beat rossi ? and his rookie season ?

Marquez picked the wrong tire, he should have held back a little and got some points in
second, but he didn't, like rossi said, for MM, "its all or nothing"

he's young, he needs to learn a little patience, but like I said thats not him,

I hope he doesn't get hurt, or hurt someone else, he could be one of the greatest, I say
could, time will tell, Kenny Roberts said this about MM
"talent like this comes around every 20-25 years" thats saying a lot ...

When MM has been around a few more years and has something approaching the experience and wisdom of Rossi, then he'll be unbeatable.
