Chinese Plastics Kits
05/20/09 8:24 AM

I saw where someone was advertising on Craig's List a complete set of Repsol plastics for my '07 CBR 1000RR. The stuff is made by YLK or something like that in China and they advertise on e-bay all the time. Stuff is pretty cheap at about $350 but I imagine it's junk. I'm guessing it either doesn't fit well, looks cheap or is made with toxic chemicals, anyone know anything about this stuff?

everything you mentioned above i've read about. those plastics have crappy reviews, but i know a guy that bought a set for his gixxer to use on the track and he's been happy with them. i'm sure they were a pain to put on though. so if you want a quality set you had better pay the $1300. if you want a set to just get by at the track then pay the $350.
