Fiat 500 - Abarth

I test drove a couple of them last week, and wow what an impressive little machine.

What a quick little sum-bitch this car is, and the acceleration feels that much more profound, given how small the car is. Yet it handles so well. I was especially knocked out by the suspension and steering during fast cornering. You don't really have to slow before entering a corner...........

The detailing like the red stitching on the leather interior, the many electronic features, and that killer the exhaust sound as its winding up (amazingly cool). And nice little detailing touches like the reoccurring scorpion emblem, including on the wheel centercaps........even the airbox on the engine has the scorpion logo on it. It also has a turbo gauge (which puts out 18 pounds) and shift up light, as well. Comes with a ton of standard features that are options on many cars. But I really love the (optional) power sunroof, and black and red leather seats.

Thinking hard about getting one later this year.

You can get it in white, gray, black, and red. Several options, as well.

But the main draw is the turbo engine, which is only 1.4 but puts out 160 horsepower. With an ECU module, over 200 HP........in a car that weighs a mere 2,300 pounds. The small size, combined with such raw power, and so many features.................. what a wicked little gem.

Fun car, but it won't tow a trailer, so ....... no cigar.

Smoking cool car! For me it's about the baby seat and toddler seat. I think of the times I used my Chrystler Dayton to pick up my girlfriend and the great space for excellent delights in the back seat. I remember I bought my first house because she stopped wanting to,,,you know,,,in the back of the car. But if your single, no kids, no toys to truck and you'd prefer this toy over a moto, then what the heck, this car is for you.
What's the sticker price on this bad ass?
