I am taking off on my 2012 Blue ZX14R for a week trip down to Birmingham/Huntsville area for the AHRMA VintageFest motorcycle racing and activities. I'll be riding by myself the entire way down and back 1,100 miles each way.

I leave after work today, not sure how far I'll get or where I will stop. I'm thinking about just finding somewhere to stop and sleep under the stars, but if that's not an option I'll have to find a hotel on the way. Hopefully I don't get struck by lightening or something since I'm riding solo on this trip. Just in case something happens: 14R community gets my bike . If anyone is on the route between Northwest IA and Birmingham area, hit me up. I'll be going through St. Louis, MO and Jackson, TN.

I sure hope I have everything packed.

Made it back safely. Only issues with the bike over the course of 2,400 miles is that my horn stopped working for some reason.

And my little sweat-band sock that I had on my clutch reservoir blew off on the interstate. The brake side one is still on.

What a ride!!!
