I believe the color difference is why the price is different. Now this is for a 2015 model, they probably don't have any info out yet for the 2016 (metalic grey).

Ha, it's cheap compared to what was available 15+ years ago. If you had to replace all the fairings on an early CBR600 or ZX6, you would have ended up paying more than the bike was worth.
