I have a leftover part from my old bike. It's the LCD unit that I used with my PC III.

Can this be used with the PC V ......with or w/o firmware change?

I want to use it, but have not purchased the PC yet.....so will only buy the PC V if this can be used.

I sent my query to DJ via the website customer service.........if anyone knows they should.

DJ service was great.

The LCD can be used on the PC V with a cable and upgraded firmware.

I'll buy whatever PC I find for a good price and go from there.

I have the LCD and PCV and it works. You need a wideband 2 cable... and I did need to update the firmware. I actually needed to update the firmware in my LCD-100 to make it into a LCD-200... yes, when asking about DJ products or planning your DJ setup, ALWAYS ASK A DJ TECH!!! Suppliers don't always know their from their elbow whern it comes to DJ products and their compatibility. Not everything is interchangeable.

Exactly.........I have the 100 so will do the same if I end up with the V.

It's a nice to have unit.

Got a good deal on a V so bought that ......and just ordered the cable and plug from DJ.

I already have tons of maps........so I'm set.

The PC V came in today.......its much smaller and got a few more functions.

I've transferred the PC III map data to a PC V table and loaded it up.

I will install it after work and see how it rips........

Hope to install the LCD when the cable arrives.

Put the PC V in......took only like 10mins.

Using a laptop I tried to set the TPS, but didn't seem to work.

I had no trouble setting idle, but WOT didn't seem to want to set.

The numbers read 100 after I did it. Does the bike think I am always at 100%

It ran fine.....seemed better than before - prob b/c of extra fuel in the map.

I'll try again tomorrow.............maybe get online and reload firmware.

Seems I may have done it incorrectly..........the instructions were vague. Will try again after work........gotta wait b/c the throttle has to hit the upper stop(but not the rev limiter).....while running.......don't want to scare the crap outta everyone.

Your hand is not quick enough to return that rpm from hitting the rev limiter. The trick would be to pull one plug connector off, start it, rev it. The pc wants to read the tps off the injector plugs, where those pings have something to do with that?

Sure I can ....the electrons are faster than the crank too.......take me longer to remove the 3 screws and plastic than to set it.

I never set anything with my PCV. The map was loaded and I just installed it...works fine but I guess I should check the settings some day...I would flip if it ran much better than it does now....all those years without knowing how good it could have been!!

TPS setting is important.

Just upgraded firmware for LCD and got my plugs for connecting it to the PC V. I can really tweak now...........cool toys.
