Wow!!!
10/23/14 2:12 PM

I added this post because we ZX-14 owners don't mind a little extra performance...

Was very fortunate to have had one of these puppies recently for 2 days to play with thanks to a very generous mate.
Ferrari F430.
Now I love my ZX14.
But driving this thing both at street speeds and in anger was unbelievable.

If you ever get the opportunity...

.
Just kidding!!! Nice ride, for sure!!

Romans, if that's you getting out of the Lamborghini, your face says it all.
Without trying to sound too smug, anyone who hasn't had the chance to drive one of these motor vehicles just can't comprehend the experience.
"Just another car" type comments just don't cut it with these.
And yep, I had the Ferarri to myself for 2 days to do with as I pleased.
No one in the car telling me to slow down or ease up.
And dont worry, I gave it a good sorting out!
I was extremely lucky to have gotten the opportunity and it was an amazing experience I won't soon forget.
Like I said, very generous mate...

The body is not bad looking on this car, but I'd plunk that old body over this mclaren p1. You boys are not in a real car. Old fart names with old fart tractor boy and killer man with his piles. When I saw the welds on that piece of shit long ago, turned me right off on how those pissing horses are made. Lambo even told enzo his cars were piles and he beat him just to prove it...LOL.. Yeah, yeah, the best can be beaten.

Leno says this car give so much feedback, you stop on a dime... Heads!

I'm still a sucker for the big block V8 sound and grunt.

Lord willing, I'm gonna build a GT40 with a SOHC 427 SCJ. I'll probably shorten the stroke to comfortably run 8000 RPM.

Late '70s-'80s I vacationed in Phoenix twice a year. Spent most of the time hitting car dealerships and test driving used Ferraris, Lambos, Astins, Jags, even a 12 cyl. supercharged Cord. I'd park my buddies Mazda pickup, hand over my driver's license, and they'd toss me the keys. I must've driven a million dollars worth of cars around that desert.

Just "helped" my mate out.

Drove his Ferrari from Melbourne to Sydney for him.
I know, I know. You all cant believe what a decent guy I am to help a friend out like that.

But somebody had to do it.

Pininfarina figured out how to capture pure sex in the form of an automobile body. Only a few other designers came close.

Why not chime in on this one... I had a chance to sample 6 supercars for a half day "wind and fire" tour. They were a lamborghini gallardo spyder and an LP-560, a Ferrari F430 and 599 GTB, a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren , and a Superformance MK111 (replicar of a '65 Shelby Cobra). So the 599 GTB was my favorite as it had the Enzo engined V-12 in it. AMAZING! But my #2 was the Cobra... and it wound up in my driveway with a new owner... me!
