Smaller and relocated battery

Thinking of getting one of these small batts and stashing it....somewhere.....

Then use the stock location for storage.

In the hole just behind where the battery sits now? You would have to remove the tank to get to that spot, not sure or not if there is room enough. But I do remember it being a big empty space in the frame of nothing but a few wires and hoses passing through.

My custom turbo build eliminates the use of the air induction system.

I could put it in place of the right ram air tube.

This places it high and very far forward....good location for the weight.

I use the RB Batteries version of the one you have in the link. I put the air pump for the air shifter in the battery compartment along with the battery. Lots of room. The one from RB Batteries is even smaller.



2009 Monster Edition ZX14, 70" wheelbase, 16-46 gearing, air shifter, Shinko Drag Radial. 2005 Turbo Hayabusa, 74" wheelbase, 16-43 gearing, foot shifted, Shinko Drag Radial. 2001 GSXR 1000, long, low and not stock.
