Stock for me. I like bikes that go around corners as fast as possible. If I were drag racing maybe I'd choose different but an extended arm would still screw up my preferred street riding.

I do like drag racing but my bike is a street bike and I want to be able to use it as such. And ext arms have just never looked right to me..But that is just my opinion..

Bike looks better stock. I'd rather consider shortening the wheelbase an inch or two if it would make much of a difference.

Stock wheelbase is by far the best look in my opinion. Extended swingarms look absolutely ridiculous.

...unless you need it. I'd put one on for a boosted bike to keep the front down at 130 mph. If I needed it, I'd think it was cool.

I'd rather consider shortening the wheelbase an inch or two if it would make much of a difference.

There was a guy who dremmeled the axle slots forward several years back. IDK how much he shortened the WB but it was probaly onlt 1/2 inch. He still forsook his 14 for a liter bike and a Suz 600. His 14 never panned out to be the track bike he hoped but he brought it as close as he could get it. Saw his 14 in thew for sale section last summer.

Not in this lifetime...drag racing is for fast bikes...corners are for fast riders! Somebody said it too, but they also look f***ing ridiculous...saw a guy the other day on a 600 with a +9 or whatever on it, just lame.

If you do anything to a bike to make it better suit your purpose, it's all good, unless your purpose is to impress the kiddies at bike night. Then you're just a poser.

Yeah, no fan of extended. On the street it screams CUSTOM, MODIFIED, LOOK AT ME and TACKY. But I will admit sometimes it's kinda fun to look at the crazy custom paint schemes with little details all over 'em like skulls, devils and girls (oops sorry to be repetitive) ... but good golly I have no desire to own one.

I agree. Most street riders with extended swingarmss I see have that dick-in-the-tank look about them, reminds me of a rooster.

Rook you know me. I'm all about performance. Not sure if it would make me faster or not, probably not to be frank. 14R is a great track bike but someone has to have reasonable expectations too. The point someone wants to go racing with one would be nonsense. It's not a racing track bike. Plenty of youtube videos of 14s beating up on racer replica riders though.
