Finally had my hardbags and seat cowl painted. This was my first ride with everything mounted up.

@Matt1414 The sidecases are the Givi V35 PLX saddlebags and the rack is a Sw-Motech quick lock contour carrier. I bought both items from Twistedthrottle.com. I'll send you links to the parts if you need.
@KawKrew06ZX14 The Givi bags are much better than the tank bag I was using on my old CBR 1000rr. You'll love them.

@loadedmind, the materials cost $245 shipped to my door from Colorite.com. My uncle paints and sprayed the parts for free! If you're just painting hardbag panels, you'll only need 1/2 pints of paint, primer and clearcoat, so the cost would be well under $200.
@runnerhiker, thanks for the compliments.
To anyone looking to paint anything in Candy thunder blue, I've got about a 1/2 pint of paint, primer, and clear with more than enough reducer to mix with everything. I'd cut a good deal on whats left, but I don't want to ship, so you'd need to be somewhat close to Salt lake city so we could meet somewhere.

so, the panels you painted, are they removable? i have seen these bags on other bikes, and all matched. i really like how the look on the 14 too. just wondered how much trouble it is to have them painted. (i'm don't have the space or equipment to do the job well, myself)
