Hi all, great site you guys have got here.
I just got myself a nice 2009 14 with a few tasty extras.

Needs a bit of sorting and Im really looking forward to it.
Already started with the mods

Ive been off road bikes for a couple years and mainly sticking with the long distance offroad stuff with a KTM 990 but Im missing the roadies so now Im back into it :-)

Hopefully there might be a few locals to catch up with.

Thanks fellas, appreciated.
Went for a quick 100k spin this morning.
Im not sure what the deal is with the suspension but its so stiff!!
He spent big bucks on it, Traxxion AK20 custom built cartridges up front and a fully reworked shock from the US on the rear.
The guy was probably 15kg lighter than me but its so stiff, not sure where to go with it.
Have to keep playing.

There are some good setup tips around here.
Super Stiff is not good for the street for sure.
They need to be able to soak up the shit roads here in Sydney without busting your arse. But still give you good feedback.

Took the Traxxion shock out and replaced it with the stocker.
Way better for my weight so far.
At least its not constantly kicking my arse.

Now what to do about the AK20 cartridge front end

Gday Marc, well now isn't this a small world! I had no idea you were similarly afflicted until cruising through the site just now and found this thread. Had to go check it was the same 1coolbanana from on ADVrider! I sold the 990 Adventure to buy a '14 model ZX14R from Motohub. I still have a 950S in the shed so no big loss.
