I rode to Searcy and visited the largest Motorcycle Dealer in AR. Nice to have a service dept. close to my house. Anyway, I roamed the showroom floor and parked my butt on new Bikes to see if a replacement for my ZX is available. I'm happy to report not one Bike suit me. The big Ninja is a keeper for another year. Hell, the way I've modified my Ninja it has more legroom than a new FJR. 41mpg not bad for such a potent machine.

I'd still be in no hurry to replace my 08 even if I could afford to. If I ever do buy a new one, I'm keeping the 08 though.

Hey doubleD, it looks like your are doing well. The seat I got from you made it to Calif and back this summer in relative comfort. Over 6,000 miles in 2 weeks. I prolly got 38-40 mpg most of the way. We were cruising at 85-90 on the freeways. So, 41 is very good on that.

I agree, 40mpg on the highway. Not that I care about fuel economy on this bike.

double ... How'd you take the pic while riding?

I've been carrying a camera around my neck since the 1990's for action and scenery photos. Since 2005 I have been using Canon Power Shot A540. I learned after my trip to CA in 2009 I needed to tape the selector wheel. Turning ON the camera with gloves is still a challenge. This camera came with a 16mb SD card and can only use no larger than 2GB cards. This camera is still around used on EBay. I need a backup. I've busted the battery door on this one. It takes 2 AA Batteries and I use Energizers Lithium.
Also a Throttle Lock.
