I broke my tib, fib and talus - my foot hung by the tendons!
When I got to hospital I said - Thank God it's my brake foot and not my shift leg. It took two years of serious, I mean serious rehab for it to come back. I can now push more weight with the broken ankle than the good one. So anything is possible. That said, I remember riding while it was broken, and people marveled. I said, "as long as I put the right food down we are allz good!"

I wish our boy a speedy recovery. You can do it!
