And $300 plus and two months later still no lights.

He won't answer any e-mails Pay-pal can’t get a hold of him...

If anyone does get hold of the A@#*HOLE feel free to get some revenge for me,
As I know if I get him I'll take out revenge for everyone his ripped off..

Years ago I purchased a processor for a server on eBay and it arrived DOA. No replies to my emails. PayPal got me a total of $21 back because that was all that was left in the account.

I had pretty good contact information, so I filed a complaint at the FBI's Fraud website and the scammer actually got arrested. Seems he did it to a whole bunch of folks for about 3 months, then moved. Didn't move far enough. *snicker*

I got ripped off too...

I ordered the marker lights in a bright white and sent my $26 bucks and Nothing came so after many e-mails
I got paypal involved and they just sent me a judgement that said they ruled in my favor
but they could not recover any money so I replied...GEE THANKS!!! The GUY is a CROOK....BEWARE ALL!

I was trying to think of a way to screw with a local wrtecker called Sac Cycle (Sacramento area.)
If you know how to set up a web site, you give it a name extremely similar to whoever you're wanting to dis. Describe similar items so the search will include you. When anyone does a search it would appear above or below the original.
Then you can eloquently explain to all.

How about ordering and mailing a check for payment. The canceled check might disclose his location.

The problem with todays world is there are few places left where you can go and be face to face with someone who is accountable.....and kick their ass!

Sorry to hear about the ripoff.Just a bit of warning also to anyone buying Muzzy pipes-this is gonna sound crazy I know.I bought TWO advancers from them at different times.Both were quality-no probs.Everything worked good-the transaction and payment with my credit card.It was a legit deal both times.However-a couple of months ago I was inquiring "on their site" about some pipes they advertised.I never got a response back.Then in my e-mails I got one-it said "we need to confirm your credit card number and blah blah-wanted my COUNTRY of birth,and some other strange request along those lines.When I went back onto the "site"(looked VERY legit)(this was a shortcut in my "favorites" menu-so I hadn't changed the way I was contacting them ),I looked up the pipe number that they had offered-NO SUCH PIPE NUMBER EXISTED.There were numbers above and below where numerically it should have been listed.The e-mail "came" from the Muzzy site(?) and when I e-mailed back to ask Why are you asking me to give my card number and country of birth,I never heard from them again.BE CAREFUL GUYS if anyone asks you for ANY of that info-especially if you've done business with them in the past.They would never ask those things-they'd have a record of the previous transactions somewhere in their files.To this day,I've NO IDEA WHO was contacting me.

Yes, there are quite a few spoof sites and I found a spoof of Muzzy early this year when I typed the url wrong. There are several for Microsoft too. Etc. etc.

Fake emails are all the rage, where they spoof a legitimate company/site. I process all my email through MailWasher so it catches 90% of those, which granted are fairly rare.

My favorite is PayPal spoofs. Oh, and the FBI spoof. I forward that to fbi.gov figuring they'd get a kick out of it.
