Spdgrfx aka Michael

Hello all,
My name's Michael and I'm a refugee from the old site. I joined there late in 2007 hmmm, about 4 months after I brought Ursula home. Ursula's a 2007 Metallic Diablo Black ZX-14 Ninja. Kept her stock until February this year. This off season (is there REALLY such a thing as an off season if ya really gotta ride) she finally got some upgrades including Akrapovic full race system, PC with Ivan's map, tre 006a. I turned 46 this month celebrating 30 years of riding bikes. The first bike I remember seeing was my uncle's HD Electa-Glide. I've only owned 2 bikes, the 14's the second, the first was a Honda CB175 tht ran for all of one week. Couldn't fix it myself and at the time, I couldn't afford to have it fixed so I gave it away. After a failed marriage and raising a son, there's nobody but me to please but me so I went out to buy a ZX-11. After researching the "State of the Sport" for a few weeks, I discovered the ZX-14. I knew I wanted a big bike that could haul my big ass(I'm 5'10" and 230lbs)and possibly a passenger and still get out into traffic, be comfy to ride all day and look sporty, not like the '76 Gold Wing on which I learned to ride when I was 15, or a butt ugly and the Suzuki Hyabusa. Anyway, I ride when I can and think about riding when I can't. When I learn how to post pics on the site, I'll post some of Ursula and me.

Open up a Photobucket account (free) follow the instructions and download pics there, then you can copy and paste the URL here.... instant pic. You got me beat.... I can't figure out how to add my avatar here :-(.

If you're logged in, you should be able to click the "Profile" link in the top menu. On that page, you can upload your profile and set up a signature and pretty soon put in your location, which will display under your avatar. -bg
